We worked some more on searching for the parent company of various brand name items and then went over the answers.

Each student made a list of eight companies in which they would like to invest. With their partner, they narrowed the list of sixteen down to four.

Tuesday
Handouts: labeled map of Europe; blank map of Europe; guidelines for map and map test (March 31)
We discussed expectations for the map.
As a class, we read and discussed Chapter 25 S1 of the textbook.

Monday
Students compared 1914 Europe to Europe in 1918 and discovered which new countries were formed after the Treaty of Versailles.
