Friday
Students watched part of the WWI movie The Lost Battaion.
Homework

Thursday
Students continued their research of the 1920s.
Homework
If not complete, finish the PowerPoint over the weekend. If e-mailing to me, I must have the it by next Tuesday morning. If uncertain whether it will work, send me a test e-mail of a simple 2-slide PowerPoint beforehand.




Wednesday
Students began their research of the 1920s. The PowerPoints created today and tomorrow will be shown to the class next week, when they tell the other students what they have learned.
Homework
Last call for The Lost Battalion permission slips! Bring in a flash/thumb drive if you have one, or be ready to e-mail the PowerPoint to yourself to work on at home over the weekend. If e-mailing to me, I must have the it by next Tuesday morning. If uncertain whether it will work, send me a test e-mail of a 2-slide PowerPoint beforehand.



Tuesday
Students took the WWI and Treaty of Versailles test.
We then discussed the 1920s research project that will take place over the next two days.
Homework
Have you turned in your movie permission slip?
Do you have a thumb or flash drive you could bring in for the 1920s PowerPoint you'll be creating and presenting?



Monday
Collected Thinking Maps from Ch 25 S1.
Read and discussed textbook p. 713 ff. (Ch 25 S2 - Changes in Society and S3 - The Jazz Age and the Harlem Renaissance).
Homework
Create a thinking map (brace or tree maps are most suited to this) with the headings Popular Culture and Society using information from the sections we just read.
Study for the test tomorrow.
