Friday
No School - Spring Break Day


Thursday
Read and discussed textbook p. 709 ff. (Ch 25 S1 - The Business of America).
Homework
Create a thinking map (brace or tree maps are most suited to this) with the headings Government, Business, Agriculture, and Technology using information from the section we just read.
Study for the test on Tuesday.
The Last Battalion permission slip due back by April 7 at the latest.




Wednesday
Checked The Legacy of WWI w/s and Journal Entry #13.
Went over what to review for Tuesday's test.
Used Pre- and Post-WWI maps of Europe and the Cost of War grid to determine how the face of Europe changed as a result of the war.
Homework
Study for the test on Tuesday.
The Last Battalion permission slip due back by April 7 at the latest.




Tuesday
Checked Life on the Home Front w/s and Journal Entry #12.
Watched segments from War Without End [Strachan - Disc 4 - 21:45-end], which covered the Treaty of Versailles and the attitude of The Big Four towards the defeated Germany.
Handout: The Legacy of World War I (w/s 237-238).
Homework
Read, complete chart and questions on The Legacy of World War I - in complete sentences - and learn the terms / names. No extra thinking map tonight.
Also, Journal Entry #13.
Permission Slip went home for The Last Battalion - due back by April 7 at the latest.
WWI test (covering lead-up to war, course of the war, and Treaty of Versailles) will be next Tuesday, April 6.

Watched segments from War Without End [Strachan - Disc 4 up to 21:45] on what led up to the Armistice.
