Week of Jan. 25

Friday
Graded and reviewed answers to Ch 22 S3 w/s.
Students discovered which African and Asian countries were governed by European powers during the Age of Imperialism (pre-1914) by coloring maps of both continents.
Homework
Finish maps. Test on Chapters 20 & 21 next Tuesday.


Thursday
Graded and reviewed answers to Ch 22 S1 and S2 w/s; collected thinking maps of those sections.
Reviewed progress made by women in the 19th century. Students developed two cartoons on the pros and cons of women having the right to vote. Several students presented, and the cartoons were all collected.
Homework
Complete the chart, answer the questions (in complete sentences), and learn the terms & names for w/s Ch22 S3 (Women Win New Rights). No thinking map tonight.



Wednesday
Graded and reviewed answers to Ch 21 S3 and S4 w/s; collected thinking maps of those sections.
