Friday
Quarters for Caring Fair was introduced. We discussed the rubric and guidelines.
Handout: Notecard paper for the research paper.
Students worked in groups to brainstorm activities for their booths.
Homework
We'll cover the bibliography on Monday. The research report is due Dec. 8.



Thursday
Students had time to work on the outline and rough draft in class.
Homework
I will hand out the notecard paper and discuss the bibliography tomorrow. The research report in all its parts is due Dec. 8.



Wednesday
I collected the thinking map.
Handouts: Research Paper Rubric and Outline.
Students began work on their research paper. I showed examples of good and not-so-good reports and discussed expectations. Students worked on the outline in class.
Homework
Fill in any gaps in your research at home. Be prepared to write the rough draft in class tomorrow. The research report is due Dec. 8.



Tuesday
Ms. Ronemous had a sub.
Students turned in the Thinking Maps.
They read Ch 21 S1 and S2 w/s.
